Islamic water eh? Can’t have that damn infidel water! The sad thing is there’s a line of thought that Islam has in it that not just justified this but almost requires it. I read some pre-911 Taliban rhetoric and one of the main ideas was if people in the west did it, if Christians do it, then do something different! Ironically, it wasn’t dogmatic in this or what is a sin, it simply said be contrary. It went right down to saying if they dye their hair a particular color, then dye your hair another color. It was ridiculious but there’s a lot of this stuff built in. It’s one reason that when Iran had their revolution the first thing they did was destroy the infrastructure the west had built for them. Nevermind that you need those phone lines, they were western!
